I'm sure looking forward to this weekend. Friday night at E's w/my bff Karla. Saturday Black Snake Moan (holy sex scene between Ricci and Timberlake) then dinner with Me-shell and Adam and last and certainly not least Kittery/Portsmouth (neener Irene) for some odds and ends!

That sounds like the most perfect weekend in the history of the entire universe.

ps I started making chicken picatta, its a 30 min meal, no shit!

Got the Lilly Allen CD, I love it. Fun, silly, cute and a little vulgar, its fabulous.

The IKEA trip was successful, I got some cute lighting and found the bookshelf system I want for the office. I still cant get over hot huge these stores are. My Mother was amazed! I cant count how many time we said "oh my god its only (some amount)"!

So that was my exciting weekend. IKEA, best buy to get guitar hero (again!) but it was sold out (STILL and AGAIN!) and celebrating Matt's bday w/many eating outages.

Now I'm watching the Oscars but not without a running commentary with Erin via IM, we are like statler and waldorf, the balcony guys on the muppets.

Loo gets the deeps dot com.

1. Setting my grandmothers rug on fire. Repeatedly. She watched me every weekend and showed me how to make oodles of noodles and fry eggs and i returned the favor by turning into the pyro grandchild from hell.

2. Gaining 70 pounds in my 20s. dude. Seriously.

3. Not seeing my father before he died. I didn't know him, he was an alcoholic and an amazing artist. This is pretty much all I know. He was sober his last few years, I didn't know...if I did, I wonder if things would have been different.

4. Not being a better friend to Karla in 1995

5. Not getting Demmi Fixed earlier. Her chance of memory cancer significantly increases now.

6. Not being a better sister to my brother and two sisters. My brother dropped out of HS and my sister is on her way but the other is doing well.

7. Not asking Matt to move in Feb 05. It would have saved us a ton of money.

8. Supporting some men in my life and racking up some hefty debt for myself. I learned the hard way, twice.

9. Not leaving my job five years ago to develop my career better.

10. Picking on Heather in Junior High. I was a complete asshole to this girl

11. The one night stand in 1998

12. Tanning to much and as a result getting smellynomer (melanoma)

13. Being a shitty friend to Cindy in 2003.

*sniff* I didn't know how attached I was to that car until I said goodbye. I have too many issues with my feelings for inanimate objects. I really do picture Keira sitting there alone in the parking lot wondering "why?" "what did I do wrong". I'm sick in the head, me thinks.

So anyway, I've adopted Matts VW golf. He'll keep his value better, has four doors and is new to me! His name is Silous and the new car is Seamus.

Perhaps if I stop naming them I won't harbor these irrational feelings?

This weekend was an eating fest and I feel like a bloated puffed Loo.

So I'm off to DDR ( I got a new wireless pad...HOT) and after that Matt and I go shopping for a possible new car and I might become new owner of Matt's sassy 05 VW golf, its black, cute and has four doors for a future something or other. Planning ahead!

Tonight its Mexican w/E where I will try like hell to make a "sensible" menu choice! oy!

Matt started his new job today. I like having him within IM's reach but alas he is no where to be found. I hope this doesn't mean he won't be able to IM. That would make me sad.

I'm so glad we found eachother (hes going to kill me) last night we were watching the Grammys and when Mary J came on (if you watched you know) and poured her heart out, I of course teared up, I'm the biggest sally this side of the Mississippi. I looked at Matt to say something gay like "bring it girl" and he's all choked up. So there you have it, the two of us on the sofa, crying cos Mary J's soulful performance.

Weekend o celebrations! My Mom rocked the shizzy at the winterfest. She didn't win but I give her props for being 50 running around in a parrot costume in 0 degree temps....while tipsy! We didn't last to long that night, it was freezing.

Saturday we met up with some new friends to see Joshua Tree. They were awesome, really if you like U2 go see them. So. much. fun. There was some rabble rousing of course. One of our poor friends was just minding her business when she got a beer thrown at her by a girl who thought she pulled her hair. So someone from our group returned the favor. After 598579285679 words were said, jailarity ensued. They ended up getting arrested for pushing the wrong dude. The rest of the night was a blast, I love when you just click with people.

But all and all the highlight of my weekend? My dishwasher is installed!

I'm looking forward to work next week, I have a new attitude and things are looking up. My AIMBFF is in London for the week, I'll miss her so but I'll probably be super productive!

Thats the way it has to be cos thats the way i like it dadadadatatata yeah yeah. Thats what in my head. all. GD. morning. Hopefully I have not tortured with the lyrical stylings of Dino....

The weekend? Y'all on the edge of your seats, I can tell. Friday we went to our favorite restaurant and had a mini "Matt got a sassy new job" celebration.

We got our dishwasher and treadmill Saturday. Oh we had the stove repaired that was delivered broken. (yup) I was asleep by 10pm. Officially an old lady. But I think the ambien is helping, I feel like maybe after the fourteen days I can come off it addict free.

So after the "OMG my cat has mammary cancer" freak out her blood work came back negative. There are still a few concerns but all seems well in little Dem land. I thought I was going to have to make little kitty booby cancer awareness ribbons there for a sec. Mammary cancer runs high in Siamese though, so its still something I have to be on top of. She, of course, is overwhelmed with the amount of attention she has been given since she came home but she is very loved by both Matt and me, the scare was well scary.

It was weird coming with her not here and then I realized that is was the first time in eleven years she was not there to greet me.

Demmi has some lumps on her belly and I'm very worried for her. She's been acting weird for a week and then Matt discovered the lumps. We have an appointment tomorrow for my precious. Since she is all thats on my mind, this TT is for her.

1. She a Himalayan Siamese mix which makes her fluffy with short hair.

2. She howls. Shes been runs to the top of the stairs looks and howls. I think there are spirits.

3. She stole my cheeseburger once!

4. She has also invited herself to some of my ice cream

5. She is obsessed with Matt

6. She sleeps with us every night, she likes to be in the middle. I think she is jealous of me! (see five)

7. She doesn't know how to drink water, she allays ends up with it all over her face.
